1. Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of a Quorum
Call meeting to order at 7:06pm: Anni Holm, Uwe Gsedl, Buddy Plumlee, Lew Achenbach, Adriana
Sarellana, and City Liaison Rosemary Mackey in attendance.
2. Approve Meeting Minutes of November 7, 2019
Adriana motions to approve, Uwe seconds, minutes approved with no corrections.
3. Design Plaques for Existing City-owned Public Art
We currently have 3 art pieces with no plaques which are Loveevenmore, Signa Rotae, and the Tampico
mural. Uwe will create mock-up templates.
|. Signa Rotae- will have a 3x5 plaque with black lettering on white background. Lettering to be
left justified

ll. | Mural-plaque to be the same size as Anni’s mural. Anni will reach out to Juan Chawuk for
approval of plaque. Plaque layout as follows:

Il. Loveevenmore- Discussion of plaque to be added to next meeting agenda.
4. Update on Marketing Push for 2020 Banner Artists
Deadline for submissions is February 1% 2020, there are currently no submissions. There will be a press
release coming soon with an interview with Ryan Hamner.
5. Other Business
a. Videographer “Baba” Abraham is interested in partnering with the City of West Chicago and with the
Cultural Art Commission on future projects. He will meet with Rosemary to discuss more details and
ideas.
b. Anni proposed a future project for street theatre. This may be an opportunity to partner with some of
the schools to help sponsor this event. Estimated cost is about $2000/week.
c. Park District will be having a taco night art show in August and would like to partner with us to facilitate
the event.
d. Uwe brought up that the sister cities signs need replacing. He will be in contact with Rosemary on
details.
