CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES
Regular Meeting
February 11, 2020

(1) Call to Order and Establishment of a Quorum.
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the West Chicago City Hall. Commissioners in attendance:
Anthony Gagliardi, Keith Letsche and Randy Wilson. A quorum was established. Also in attendance: Carol LeBeau.
(2) Approval of Minutes.
Motion made by Keith seconded by Randy, to approve the minutes from the November 12, 2019 Regular Meeting. Motion was
carried.
(3) Public Participation. - None
(4) Old Business. - None
(5) New Business. - None
(6) Items for Discussion and Possible Action on. —
Review and approve 2019 Civil Service Commission Annual Report to the Mayor — The Commission reviewed and approved the
Annual Report to the Mayor.
Discuss Timeline for Police Officer Testing - The Commission tentatively scheduled the written test to be sometime in June of
2020 and the oral interviews to be the week of July 13, 2020. Carol will work with testing company IOSolutions to accommodate
the dates requested by the Commission.
Discuss and review Civil Service Records and preparation of application for authority to dispose of records in accordance with the
Local Records Commission — The Commission discussed the process for application for authority to dispose of records. The
Commission assigned Carol as the Chief Examiner for the Commission to prepare the files and the application and present the
application at the next meeting.
(7) Correspondence. - None
(8) Executive Session. — None
(9) When Applicable Items to be Referred for Final Action from Executive Session. - None
(10) Adjournment.
Motion made by Randy seconded by Keith, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried and meeting was adjourned at 5:21 p.m.
