Roosevelt Road, West Chicago, IL, within the equipment/material storage yard of Grant and Power Landscaping, Inc.. The watermain at this location, which needed to be immediately repaired, is approximately 20’ deep, is located in a side yard easement area, directly serves the properties at 700 E. Roosevelt Road and 1425 S. Neltnor Boulevard, and is part of the looped watermain system supplying City water to all incorporated properties southeast of the Roosevelt Road (Iilinois Route 38) and Neltnor Boulevard (Illinois Route 59) intersection (including Currier Elementary School). Due to the depth of the watermain, unstable soil conditions, and limitations on City-owned equipment, the City hired Tri- County Excavating to assist with the repair, which occurred between November 22, 2019 and December 7, 2019.
