Regular Meeting
September 8, 2020

(1) Call to Order and Establishment of a Quorum.
Anthony Gagliardi called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. The meeting was a Zoom meeting, as Mayor Pineda has determined
that in-person meetings are not practical and prudent. In attendance: Anthony Gagliardi, Keith Letsche and Randy Wilson. A
quorum was established. Also in attendance: Carol LeBeau.
(2) Approval of Minutes.
Motion made by Randy seconded by Keith, to approve the minutes from the May 12, 2020 regular meeting. Motion carried.
(3) Public Participation. - None
(4) Old Business. - None
(5) New Business. —None
(6) Items for Discussion and Possible Action on. —
The Commission received the opinion from the Commission’s attorney regarding the extension of the Police Officer Final
Eligibility Register and unanimously agreed to the extension of the register for one year from the date of September 11, 2020 the
current expiration date. Chairman Anthony Gagliardi sent a letter to Mayor Pineda on behalf of the Commission and at the advice
of the Commission’s attorney requesting an Ordinance for the extension be sent to City Council due to the COVID-19 Pandemic
for their approval. The Ordinance was adopted on August 17, 2020. Letters approved by the Commission will be sent to the
eligible applicants on the register along with a copy of the register extension as a result of the passage of the City Council’s
Ordinance No. 20-O-0017. This register will remain in effect until September 11, 2021.
(7) Correspondence. - None
(8) Executive Session. — None
(9) When Applicable Items to be Referred for Final Action from Executive Session. —
(10) Adjournment.
Motion made by Keith seconded by Randy, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 5:16 p.m.
