CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES
Regular Meeting
*Approved 8-10-21 May 11, 2021
(1) Call to Order and Establishment of a Quorum.
Anthony Gagliardi called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. In attendance: Anthony Gagliardi, Randy Wilson and Keith Letsche.
A quorum was established. Also in attendance: Carol LeBeau and Interim Police Chief Christopher Shackelford.
(2) Approval of Minutes.
Motion made by Randy seconded by Keith, to approve the minutes from the April 13, 2021 regular meeting and the April 19, 2021
special meeting.. Motion carried.
(3) Public Participation. — None
(4) Old Business. - None
(5) New Business. — None
(6) Items for Discussion and Possible Action on. — The Commission briefly discussed the lateral transfer language as a possible
amendment to the Civil Service Rules and Regulations. Carol stated it was still in review by the Commission’s attorney Jim
Knippen. The Commission agreed to wait on making any proposed amendments to the rules until all language is presented and
reviewed.
(7) Correspondence. - None
(8) Executive Session. — Keith motioned to enter Executive Session at 5:25 p.m. for review of police officer applicant file. Randy
seconded. Chris Shackelford was asked to join Executive Session at 5:35 p.m.
(9) When Applicable Items to be Referred for Final Action from Executive Session. —
The Commission reviewed and discussed applicant number 38 and conditionally certified the applicant contingent upon the
applicant successfully completing the psychological assessment and the pre-employment medical testing.
(10) Adjournment.
Motion made by Randy and seconded by Keith, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
