MINUTES
PLAN COMMISSION/ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
JUNE 15, 2021 7:00 P.M.
1, Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of a Quorum
Chairperson Laimins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call found Commissioners
Laimins, Banasiak, Billingsley, Devitt, Hale, and Henkin present. Commissioner Kasprak was
excused. A quorum was established.
Staff in attendance were Community Development Director Tom Dabareiner and City Planner John
Sterrett. Also in attendance included Courtney Kashima and Romina Castillo of Muse Community
Design.
2, Chairman’s Comments
Chairperson Laimins welcomed new commissioner Hannah Billingsley to the Plan Commission.
3. Approval of Draft Minutes of the May 4, 2021 Plan Commission Meeting
Commissioner Banasiak made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Devitt, to approve the May 4,
2021 Plan Commission meeting minutes. With a voice vote of all “ayes” and zero “noes” the
motion carried and the draft May 4, 2021 meeting minutes were approved.
4. Comprehensive Plan — Visioning Session - Presented by Muse Community Design
Ms. Castillo and Ms. Kashima presented an overview and summary of the progress made to date for
the Comprehensive Plan. Ms. Kashima and Ms. Castillo lead a discussion and exercise with the
Commission to create a vision statement for the Comprehensive Plan.
§. Adjournment
Commissioner Hale made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Devitt, to adjourn the meeting.
With a voice vote of all “ayes” and zero “noes”, the motion carried and the Plan Commission, at
8:25 p.m., was adjourned.
