ITEM SUMMARY:
As part of their 2020 storage/parking lot expansion located at 1827 Blackhawk Dr., RAI Concrete was
required to install on-site stormwater drainage facilities. This included a detention pond with Best
Management Practices (BMP) design features. The proposed stormwater management/BMP ease-
ment provisions would allow the City access to the stormwater facilities in the case where the property
owner is not maintaining the items per city code requirements. Any costs incurred by the City for said
maintenance would be borne by the property owner.
ACTIONS PROPOSED:
Consideration of the requested grant of easement for stormwater detention and drainage on the prop-
erty located at 1827 Blackhawk Dr.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT OF EASEMENT PLAT FOR STORMWATER MAN-
AGEMENT WITH NICOLANGELA BUILDINGS, LLC — 1827 BLACKHAWK DR.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of West Chicago, in regular session assembled
as follows:
Section 1. That the Plat of Easement, as prepared by Craig R. Knoche & Associates Civil Engi-
neers, P.C., consisting of one (1) sheet, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A”, be and the
same is hereby approved and that the Mayor and City Clerk and all other necessary and appropriate offic-
ers of the City are authorized to execute said plat.
Section 2. That all Resolutions or parts thereof, in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution
are, to the extent of such conflict, expressly repealed.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and ap-
proval as provided by law.
