Mayor’s Comments. The Mayor said West Chicago was up 479 cases from last week. This omicron virus is real and affects even those who have been vaccinated and received booster shots. The Mayor’s brother got very sick last week. The Mayor urged everyone to be careful: try to stay in, wear a mask — it is simple. There are several pop-up testing sites in West Chicago. Do your research. Most require an appointment, but the one next to Tampico, it is a walk in site. Fermi Lab reached out for someone to be on their advisory board. He sat on the board for two years when discussing the collider. It was very interesting and enjoyable. Sitting with the smartest people in the world. Would like someone to step up and be on that committee. There will be a Zoom meeting in March. The Mayor thanked everyone for website, which has positions listed, and we are getting great replies. 14. Executive Session. There was no executive session. 15.
