July 12, 2022
Call to order and Establishment of a Quorum
Chairperson Keith Letsche called the meeting to order at 5:01 P.M. In attendance were Chairperson Keith Letsche,
Commissioners Edmond Moore and Kevin Millon, Deputy Police Chief Anthony Cargola, and HR Coordinator Sash
Dumanovic.
Approval of Minutes
Motion by Commissioner Moore to approve the minutes from the June 6, 2022 Special Civil Service Commission
meeting, seconded by Commissioner Millon. No further discussion and motion carried.

None
Old Business
(a) Chairperson Letsche reported that a legal opinion from legal counsel, regarding by-laws and the Secretary role, is
in process and has not been received at this time.

Items for Discussion and Possible Action
(a) Lateral Police Officer Application process update
Deputy Police Chief Cargola reported the background checks are in process for four Lateral Police Officer
applicants. Once complete the results shall be provided to the Police Chief. Section Eight Commission Rules and
Regulations were clarified regarding who participates on the Oral Examination Interview panel for Lateral Police
Officer recruitments.
(b) Police Officer Final Eligibility Register candidate status
Background checks are being performed for applicants 23 to 27 on the current Final Eligibility Roster. Applicants
23 and 25 have declined. No response has been received from applicant 27.

Motion made by Commissioner Millon, seconded by Commissioner Moore to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
