ITEM SUMMARY:
In 2022, Scannell constructed a new office/warehouse facility at 595 Innovation Dr. As part of the con-
struction, an existing temporary storm drainage ditch was no longer needed and thus removed from
the site. The subject temporary storm drainage easement is no longer needed and thus can be abro-
gated at this time.
ACTIONS PROPOSED:
Consideration of the requested plat of abrogation for an existing storm drainage easement that is no
longer needed on the property located at 595 Innovation Dr.
COMMITTEE ACTION:

RESOLUTION NO. 23-R-0015
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLAT OF ABROGATION FOR A TEMPORARY STORM-
WATER EASEMENT WITH CIOF I - IL1B02, LLC — 595 INNOVATION DR.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of West Chicago, in regular session assembled
as follows:
Section 1. That the Plat of Abrogation, as prepared by Spaceco Inc., consisting of one (1) sheet, at-
tached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A”, be and the same is hereby approved and that the
Mayor and Executive Office Assistant and all other necessary and appropriate officers of the City are au-
thorized to execute said plat.
Section 2. That all Resolutions or parts thereof, in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution
are, to the extent of such conflict, expressly repealed.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and ap-
proval as provided by law.
