Illinois State Statute 63 ILCS 5/11-13-19 requires municipalities to formally approve an official zoning
map on an annual basis.
No annexations nor subdivisions occurred in 2022. One zoning map amendment was approved in
2022 to rezone 51 acres of property on the east side of Fabyan Parkway, approximately 1,400 feet
south of Roosevelt Road, from ORI, Office Research Industrial to M, Manufacturing. One lot consoli-
dation occurred along Prince Crossing Road, just north of Main Street. Both of these changes are re-
flected on the 2023 Zoning Map. As with every year, staff has verified that all information on the Zon-
ing Map is accurate.
Members of the Plan Commission voted unanimously (4-0) on February 7* in support of the 2023 Of-
ficial City of West Chicago Zoning Map.
ACTIONS PROPOSED:
Review and recommendation to adopt the 2023 Zoning Map dated January 24, 2023, as presented.
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Development Committee members voted unanimously (7-0) to approve the City’s 2023 Official Zoning
Map.
