Multiple payments for this subsidy will be received throughout the year from Pace. This money was received by Pace as part of Federal Coronavirus Relief Funding to use for local transportation services, such as Ride DuPage. Pace has also partnered with Uber to provide rides for registered Ride DuPage riders at a discounted rate. This is a convenient option for those riders who are physically able to use a passenger vehicle and do not require the use of a Pace bus. Pace has submitted an amendment to the existing Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Pace to reflect these items. A draft resolution is attached authorizing the Mayor to execute the First Amendment to the IGA with Pace. ACTION PROPOSED: Consideration of the First Amendment to the IGA between Pace Bus and West Chicago. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: At their April 24, 2023 meeting, members of the Public Affairs Committee voted unanimously to rec- ommend approval of the First Amendment to the IGA with Pace Bus.
