Redwood, a residential developer and property management firm, is proposing a townhouse de-
velopment north of the North Avenue at Atlantic Drive intersection. It is somewhat consistent with
a prior townhouse development approval from 2007 which consisted of 105 townhouse units on 30
acres, with commercial development on an additional 12 acres along North Avenue. That PUD
proposal fell victim to the Great Recession.
Redwood proposes to construct an estimated 120-140 single-story townhouses. The current prop-
erty owner will retain and pursue the commercial development along North Avenue.
The residential concept will be presented to Committee-members by representatives from Red-
wood. The purpose of this discussion is to gauge feedback on the product type.
