ITEM SUMMARY:
In 2018, Suncast Corporation constructed a new office/warehouse facility at 805 Discovery Dr. New
on-site 6-inch and 10-inch diameter watermain and appurtances were installed as part of the new de-
velopment. The proposed easement will allow the City access to the watermain for operation and
maintenance.
ACTIONS PROPOSED:
Consideration of the requested plat of easement for watermain utilities on the property located at 805
Discovery Dr.

RESOLUTION NO. 23-R-0054
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PLAT OF EASEMENT FOR WATERMAIN WITH DISCOV-
ERY DRIVE INVESTORS, LLC - 805 DISCOVERY DR.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of West Chicago, in regular session assembled
as follows:
Section 1. That the Plat of Easement, as prepared by Spaceco Inc., consisting of one (1) sheet, at-
tached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A”, be and the same is hereby approved and that the
Mayor and Executive Office Manager and all other necessary and appropriate officers of the City are au-
thorized to execute said plat.
Section 2. That all Resolutions or parts thereof, in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution
are, to the extent of such conflict, expressly repealed.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and ap-
proval as provided by law.
