ITEM SUMMARY:
The City of West Chicago is attempting to fill positions on the Building Board of Appeals per the Code of
Ordinances, Chapter 2 - Administration, Article vi, Boards and Commissions, Division 3—Building Board of
Appeals. The Building Board of Appeals shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City
Council for four (4) year terms, all five (5) of whom should be registered design professionals. The following
three appointees would establish a quorum:
Architect: Rick Lukasik
Plumber: James Beutjer
Electrician: Travis Sattler
Brief background summaries are found on the attached page. Two more recommended appointees will be
brought forward as soon as possible.
ACTIONS PROPOSED:
Approval of the three appointees to the Building Board of Appeals.
