                         SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES


                         Tuesday December 3, 2024 at 8:00 A.M.

West Chicago Police Department | Conference Room | 325 Spencer Street | West Chicago, IL 60185


   (1) Call to order and Establishment of a Quorum
      Chairperson Keith Letsche called the special meeting to order at 8:08 A.M. In attendance were
      Chairperson Keith Letsche, Commissioner Kevin Millon and Commissioner Edmond Moore. A quorum
     was established. Human Resources Manager and Chief Examiner Sash Dumanovic and Police Chief Colin
       Fleury were present. Additionally, the following individuals were also present for the Sergeant
      Promotional structured oral interviews in their role as examiners: Chris Jensen of the Elgin Police
      Department, Kurt Vavra of the Glen Ellyn Police Department, Mary Ellen Filipski of IO Solutions and
       Alexis Davis of IO Solutions.


   (2) Public Participation and Comment
     None


   (3) Executive Session
            (a) Oral Interviews of candidates for Sergeant Promotional Testing.
                                  i.  Pursuant to Section 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act for matters relating to the
                   employment, appointment, compensation, discipline, performance, or disciplining of
                         specific employees.
                                 ii.  Motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Millon to go
                       into Executive Session. No further discussion and motion carried. Commission adjourned
                       into Executive Session at 8:08 A.M.
                                 iii.  Commission returned to special session at 1:10 P.M.


   (4) When Applicable, Items to be Referred for Final Action from Executive Session
     None


   (5) Adjournment
      Motion made by Commissioner Millon to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Moore. No
       further discussion and motion carried. Meeting concluded at 1:12 P.M.
