ITEM SUMMARY:

Anthony Saporiti, owner of the single-family home at 351 East Washington Street in the East Wash-
ington Street Historic District, is requesting approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a
fence along the north property line of the property and a small segment between the east side of the
detached garage and the east property line. The fence proposed along the north property line, which
is the rear lot line, will be six (6) feet in height while the small segment will be five (5) feet in height.
The applicant does not intend to paint the fence and will leave  it natural while the wood dries. The
fence may be stained in the future.

The home is an L-Form constructed in 1880 and considered to be a contributing structure. No modifi-
cations are proposed for the home. Please see the attached Plat of Survey and photos for more in-
formation.


ACTION PROPOSED:

Consideration of a fence installation at the home of 351 E Washington Street.
