Appointed public bodies
The City lists bodies covering building appeals, civil service, cultural arts, downtown revitalization, economic development, environment, historic preservation, liquor and tobacco control, planning and zoning, and the police pension fund.
Members are generally residents, serve as volunteers, and are appointed by the Mayor with required Council concurrence. Vacancies, membership, and responsibilities change; confirm the official roster.
