Short visits and free public lots

Two-hour street parking

Available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except Sundays and holidays:

  • Main Street, Chicago Street to Washington Street
  • Galena Street, High Street to Main Street
  • Washington Street, Wood Street to Turner Court
  • Turner Court, Main Street to Washington Street

Free public lots

  • 103 W. Washington Street: west and north of the 105 Main Street building.
  • 500 and 542 Main Street: Metra permit and daily lots are free weekends from 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday and on six listed holidays.
  • 157 W. Washington Street: use spaces not marked permit-required.
  • Turner Court: use spaces not marked permit-required.

$1.75

For a 24-hour period. Pay with cash or credit card at pay-by-space machines at the south end of the lot.

Multiple day

Up to 72 hours

Pay in advance and use spaces 274–295, which are designated for multiple-day parking.

Permit

$105 quarterly

Quarterly permits may also be purchased on a semiannual or annual basis. A waitlist may apply.

Eligibility generally covers addresses within one-quarter mile, including portions of York, McConnell, Fremont, Arbor, Sophia, Geneva, Aurora, Wood, Church, Clara, Harrison and nearby streets. Confirm your exact address on the official application before applying.
