Battle of the Bands Set for August 30 at Reed-Keppler Park
The West Chicago Park District presents Battle of the Bands. Originally planned as a two-day competition featuring local bands in a competitive format, the event has been reimagined as a one-day celebration of local music. Rather than competing, bands will take the stage throughout the day for individual hour-long performances. The lineup includes ASLOK, Hush the Alarms, and a headlining set by Serendipity. In addition to live music, the event will offer food trucks, bounce houses, and alcohol sales, creating a festive atmosphere suitable for all ages.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 30, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Reed-Keppler Park, and is presented in partnership with the City of West Chicago and Republic Bank.
