City Council to Discuss Potential Revenue Sources – Public Invited to Participate
The City of West Chicago will hold a Special City Council Meeting on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. to review and discuss potential revenue sources for the City, including the possible implementation of a grocery tax, a sales tax increase, and other revenue-generating ideas.
Community members are encouraged to attend and share their input during the public participation portion of the meeting. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 475 Main Street, West Chicago, and will also be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.
To ensure accessibility, in-person translation technology will be available for attendees who require interpretation services.
The Special Meeting Agenda along with the link to the live stream will be posted on the City’s website.
