Free Brush Collection Available to Areas Impacted by Storms

Following the storms during the week of August 18, the City is offering free brush collection for residents in the area south of Main Street, east of Town Road, and west of Neltnor Boulevard. This free service will be provided through Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, if needed. If utilizing this service, please note the following:
  • Brush collection does not coincide with regular residential garbage pickup days, and is typically completed within five business days.
  • Branches and limbs must be no larger than 8-inches in diameter and stacked neatly on the parkway with cut ends facings towards the street; do not place brush in the street.
  • If brush is not accessible, piles will not be picked up.
  • Do not tie or bundle brush piles, or place brush in containers.
  • Brush piles containing logs, large limbs, stumps, or foreign materials will be rejected.
  • Brush poles placed after crews have passed, or piles that have been rejected, must be removed until the next collection period.

If brush is not picked up, crews will leave a notice explaining why the pile was rejected.
