Join the City of West Chicago for a lively and family-friendly celebration of Mexican culture and heritage at the Mexican Independence Day Festival on Sunday, September 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Downtown West Chicago.
This free community event will feature an exciting lineup of live music, traditional dance performances, authentic Mexican cuisine, family activities, and the highlight of the day-a 13-foot piñata! The festival kicks off with an Opening Ceremony and the traditional Grito de Independencia (Cry of Independence), setting the tone for a vibrant day of cultural pride and unity.
