The City’s 2025 Pavement Marking Maintenance Program is now underway. This project refreshes and replaces lane lines, crosswalks, and stop bars on streets throughout West Chicago to improve visibility and safety for all roadway users.
Work is taking place in the areas shown on the project map above and includes several neighborhood and arterial streets across the City. The contractor is Precision Pavement Markings, Inc.
Construction begins daily at 7:00 a.m. Temporary lane restrictions may occur while crews apply new markings, but all streets will remain open and accessible. Traffic will be flagged as needed, and fresh markings may take time to fully cure-please use caution when driving near them.
