Celebrate the Holiday Season with the Frosty Fest Window Decorating Contest!
The holiday season has arrived in downtown West Chicago, and with it comes the Frosty Fest Window Decorating Contest! Thanks to 11 local organizations, the streets will soon be filled with creative decorations.
With window decorating officially underway, visitors downtown can watch as storefronts are transformed with festive scenes and the spirit of Frosty Fest. Inspired by this year’s theme of candy canes, local groups are adding their creativity to make the windows a memorable part of this year’s holiday celebrations! Participating organizations include:

- Educare West DuPage
- Gary PTO
- Girl Scout Troop 56548
- Sister Cities
- Turner Elementary PTO
- WeGo Together for Kids
- West Chicago Parks Foundation

The fun doesn’t stop at just viewing the windows! You can vote for your favorite display and help crown the 2025 “Frosty Fest Fan Favorite” beginning Saturday, December 6 at Frosty Fest through Tuesday, December 9.
Voting is simple-just visit the Frosty Fest webpage at westchicago.org/frosty-fest or scan the QR codes at the decorated windows to cast your vote!
Prizes for the contest include $250 for first place, $150 for second place, and $100 for third place.
Enjoy the festive window displays and everything downtown West Chicago has to offer, including Frosty Fest on Saturday, December 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., where we’ll officially kick off the holiday season!
