Join us to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America, with a fun, high-energy parade showcasing local pride on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The “Unity in Community” parade is organized by the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the City of West Chicago.
The America 250 parade honors our shared history, traditions, and the diverse stories that continue to shape the American experience while looking ahead to the future. Community groups, families, local organizations, and businesses will fill the streets with music, creativity, and hometown spirit during this community celebration.
The festivities will kick off at 10:00 a.m., beginning at the Turtle Splash parking lot, traveling along National Street to Arbor Avenue, and concluding at McConnell Avenue. Click the image for full parade route.
