Blooming Fest Street Closures Begin May 15
The City of West Chicago will host its annual Blooming Fest on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors traveling to downtown for the event should note the following temporary street closures:
- Galena Street between Main Street and Tye Court
Friday, May 15, beginning at 10 a.m. through Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m.
- Main Street from Chicago Street to West Washington Street
Saturday, May 16, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Any cars that remain on these streets after indicated closing times will be towed at the owner’s expense.
On Saturday, May 16, Turner Court will be accessible from Washington Street for residents and vendors only from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. One way access will be temporarily reversed during the festival. Residents will continue to have parking and access to the Turner Court parking lot throughout the event.
