Celebrating National Public Works Week in West Chicago
This week, the City of West Chicago proudly recognizes and thanks the dedicated Public Works professionals who keep our community running every day as part of National Public Works Week, May 17 through 23.
In recognition of their service, Mayor Daniel Bovey signed a National Public Works Week Proclamation formally acknowledging the contributions Public Works staff make to public health, safety, and quality of life in West Chicago.
From clearing snow before sunrise to repairing water mains, maintaining streets and sidewalks, supporting City events, and responding during emergencies, the Public Works team serves the community year round. Much of their work happens behind the scenes, but their dedication plays an essential role in keeping West Chicago moving.
The City extends its sincere appreciation to the entire Public Works team for their hard work, dedication, and continued service to West Chicago every day.
