America 250 Parade: Parking Restrictions & Road Closures – July 5
The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce and the City of West Chicago are preparing for the America 250 Parade on Sunday, July 5. The parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. from the Turtle Splash parking lot, traveling along National Street to Arbor Avenue, and concluding at McConnell Avenue.
To help ensure a safe and smooth event for residents and visitors, the following parking restrictions and road closures will be in place during the parade.
No Parking RestrictionsNo parking will be allowed along the parade route on July 5 from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In addition to the parade route, no parking will be permitted in the following areas:
From Fremont Street to Bellview Avenue:• Elmwood Avenue
• Grand Lake Boulevard From Fremont Street to Sophia Street:
• McConnell Avenue
• Turner Avenue
• York Avenue From Yale Street to Arbor Avenue:
• National Street Road Closures
Road closures associated with the parade will begin with side streets along the route at 9:00 a.m. • National Street between Yale Avenue and Arbor Avenue
• Arbor Avenue between Nor Oaks Drive and McConnell Avenue Additional Information
