September 19–October 30, 2026 Welcome to the annual Fall Festival at Sonny Acres Farm! Since 1883, our family farm in West Chicago, Illinois, has been a favorite place to celebrate autumn. From pumpkins and hayrides to festive food and family fun, we have everything you need to make this season unforgettable. Things to Do Pumpkins Choose from pumpkins spread across the farm—perfect for carving, decorating or baking. Daytime Hayrides Take in the colors of autumn on a scenic hayride through the farm. Sonny Express Train Climb aboard a family favorite that delights children and adults alike. Wacky Worm Roller Coaster Enjoy a kid-friendly thrill ride sized just right for family fun. Farm Fresh Store Shop seasonal produce, jams, jellies, sauces, honey, fall décor and Halloween essentials. Our Kitchen Outdoor Grill Dig into Italian beef, burgers, brats, hot dogs, salads and more. Food Stands Savor roasted sweet corn and a wide variety of festival favorites. Sweet Shop Treat yourself to taffy apples, handmade candies and our famous apple cider doughnuts. Kids’ Activities and Amusements Bounce on the giant jumping pillow, race down the giant slide, enjoy amusement rides and meet friendly animals in our interactive zoo. Haunted Attractions The nighttime scares begin Friday, October 2 , with two terrifying new haunted experiences: Circus of Horrors Haunted Hayride Scarecrows vs. Zombie Cowboys Haunted Barn The haunted attractions operate on select nights from October 2–30, 2026 : October 2–4 October 9–11 October 16–18 October 22–25 October 29–30 Haunted experiences begin at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are strongly recommended because dates may sell out.
